Villa boss Lambert praised by owner

Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner has admitted manager Paul Lambert has had to confront some "unexpected issues". Assistant manager Ian Culverhouse and head of football Gary Karsa have both been suspended by Villa, although the club have yet to explain why.
