Liverpool moved to the top of the Premier League as they humiliated a woeful Tottenham side at Anfield. A second-minute Younes Kaboul own goal, following Glen Johnson's low cross, put the Reds on course for an eighth successive league victory. Luis Suarez made it 2-0 after Michael Dawson's error, and the Uruguayan then had a header pushed onto the post.
