Johnson-Thompson wins World silver

Katarina Johnson-Thompson has won her first senior medal with silver in the long jump at the World Indoor Championships in Sopot The 21-year-old led after the second round with a personal best of 6.81m, but she was pipped to gold by France's Eloyse Lesueur who leapt out to 6.85m. Team GB's medal tally rose to five with bronze medals for the women's 4x400m quartet and Andrew Osagie in the 800m. Osagie was promoted to bronze after Marcin Lewandowski was disqualified.
