Wales' Jenkins to miss Italy game

Gethin Jenkins will miss Wales' Six Nations opener against Italy in Cardiff on Saturday because of injury. But captain Sam Warburton, who injured his shoulder in December, could be fit and will be assessed on Tuesday. British and Irish Lions prop Jenkins, 33, injured his knee in Cardiff Blues' Heineken Cup defeat by Toulon on 11 January. Open-side flanker Warburton has not played since being hurt during Wales' 30-26 defeat by Australia in November.
