Wawrinka boosts semi-final chances

Stanislas Wawrinka remains in the hunt for a semi-final place on his ATP World Tour Finals debut after victory over David Ferrer at London's O2 Arena. Wawrinka needed to win his final Group A match and hope that Rafael Nadal beats Tomas Berdych later on Friday. The Swiss let an early lead slip but battled to a 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 6-1 win.
