Pietersen out for up to eight weeks

England batsman Kevin Pietersen has been ruled out for six to eight weeks with an injury to his right knee. The 32-year-old will miss England's final Test against New Zealand, which starts on Thursday. He has also been withdrawn from next month's Indian Premier League where he was to play with the Delhi Daredevils.
