Robin van Persie's controversial penalty helped Manchester United beat 10-man Crystal Palace, giving new boss David Moyes a first home league win. Van Persie slotted in a 45th-minute spot-kick after Kagisho Dikgacoi was adjudged to have fouled Ashley Young.
